Colle al Sasso - Rosso Toscano IGT

The red wine “Colle al Sasso” is a wine which is produced in the traditional Tuscan way of refining the wine in small oak barrels called “Barriques".
“Colle al Sasso” is made using only Sangiovese, cabernet and merlot grapes that are carefully harvested and handpicked.

  • Area of production: Central Tuscany
  • Grapes: Sangiovese 50%, Cabernet 25% and Merlot 25%
  • Characteristics of the cultivated land: Calcareous and rich in galestro
  • Refining: 8 months in the “Barriques” and 6 months in bottles.
  • Serving Temperature: 18°C
  • Alcohol content: 13%


Colour: Intense Garnet Red.
Fragrance: Broad and spicy.
Taste: Slightly tannic, vigorous, mature and harmonious.

Meal Combinations:

Red meats, roasted meats and matured cheeses.
