La Rupe - Chianti DOCG

The Chianti wine La Rupe is made exclusively from the traditional Tuscan grapes, Sangiovese and Canaiolo.
This wine expresses the characteristics of a bold and harmonious wine.

  • Area of production: hills of central Tuscany.
  • Grapes: Sangiovese, Canaiolo and small percentages of Malvasia and Tuscan Trebbiano.
  • Characteristics of the cultivated land: Calcareous and rich in galestro.
  • Maturing: Kept in steel barrels.
  • Refining: 2 months in bottles.
  • Serving temperature: 16 - 18°C
  • Alcohol Content: 12,50%

Colour: Bright Ruby Red.
Fragrance: Herbaceous with a hint of sweet violet.
Taste: Ready and Fresh.

Meal Combinations:

Fresh cheeses, Cured meats, Pasta dishes and Meats.
